Today I’m joined by Sarah Sarkies, who helps small business owners flourish online. She’s the founder of Mulberry Design (link below).

Sarah shares her journey and how she started her own business building websites. She shares her lightbulb moments, and how the encouragement of one person at school inspired her to follow her passion into a male-dominated world.

We chat around why it’s good to have a professional website but have ability to be in control of your content.

Sarah shares her insights, great top tips about driving traffic to your website, and things you should think about when designing your website to ensure that you build in the know, like, and trust element.

Sarah also gives us a glimpse into the first rule in the ‘Sarkies Rules for Life’. She’ll definitely be invited back to share the rest.

Today I’m joined by Dawn Owen, a zero BS Coach, and the Founder of High Vibe Live (link below).

I’ve wanted to introduce this topic for a while and couldn’t think of a better coach to have this discussion with.

Dawn and I chat, have a few mini rants, and talk about the coaching journey.

Dawn coaches around mindset and energy, and uses her business experience to help her clients.

We talk about why every coach needs a coach and every mentor needs a mentor, and why you need different coaches for different aspects of your life and business.

Coaching is about investing in yourself, and your business. Dawn talks about investing in her own coaching journey and her own ‘vomit in the mouth’ moments when she’s made that investment.

Business can be isolating, especially if you work on your own, so having a coach is someone who you can discuss everything with.

Dawn is a huge advocate of making decisions and taking Action.

We also chat about being authentic in coaching, having walked the walk to be able to share that lived experience with your clients.

Finally, Dawn shares about the decision to invest in a coach.

How Do You Deal with Grief with Louise Dillon

Today I’m joined by Louise Dillon, Armadillo Social

Louise won a Woman Who Achieves Award in 2022.

In the first part of this two-part special Podcast, Louise shares her journey into business with her digital marketing agency. Louise is celebrating her 10^th Business Birthday this year.

With a background in Television with Sky TV, Louise now specialises in the strategy behind business marketing and getting the team engaged in a positive way.

We chat around how Louise and her journey from watching TV to engaging in social media. She used her skill set from TV and transferred it into business.

In part two we talk about how Louise stepped back from business in 2019 when her son Fred became ill and subsequently died in the middle of lockdown.

Louise chats about how she dealt with Fred’s death and her return to work in the middle of the pandemic and how she rebuilt her business during a period of grief. Louise highlights how we don’t talk about grief.

An alternative way to weight loss with Clair MacKenzie

Today I’m joined by Clair MacKenzie of the Best You Coach.

Clair is a Life, Health and Weight Coach. She has coached 100s of women from all over the world and helps women (plus a few men too) with their weight loss mindset.

We had a great chat all about how Clair started her business as a result of losing her own weight through a different approach to weight loss using life coaching. She now uses the tools she learned to help others have a better relationship with food. Clair also shares what motives her, what’s she’s working on now and in the future. We also chat about working online and Zoom delivery.
